Easy to Apply
Equisome HC® is best used as soon as granulation tissue covers any exposed bone or tendons.
Equisome HC® should be administered after the wound is sprayed with clean water for 3 to 5 minutes to remove any dirt or debris and to aid in the removal of dead tissue. Bandaging is not required as long as there is a healthy layer of granulation tissue covering bones and tendons.
Apply a thin, even layer of Equisome HC® to the entire wound surface using a sterile gloved hand or applicator.
Avoid touching the tip of the container directly to the wound to reduce the risk of contamination.
Reapply as directed by your veterinarian, or at each wound check or bandage change, to help maintain a clean, moist environment that supports healing.
